Yes it should be when it comes to a CRNA(solo)making a Doctors salary as I stated in my earlier post. Let me also trun it around to you another point, do you think It's right if I was making $100,000-$110,000 a year as a Cer. Anesthesia Tech or Technologist on a B.S.(Bachelor's)level when it should be on a Master Level earning because of the time, education and skills CRNAs have obtain as well as AA-Cs ?.

Trust me if I was to be hire in the O.R. in the ACT with CRNAs employed and they found out that I was making $100,000-$110,000 doing almost the same job as Anesthetist. Such as Intubating, Starting IVs, Inserting Central line, Starting Arterial line, Starting drips on a IMED Pump, ACLS&PALS Certified, Knowledge of the Anesthesia Machine as well as trouble shooting with a Certification for the machine. Meaning I can teach&train other Anesthesia providers MDAs, AA-C, CRNAs, CerAT&Cer.ATTs and RRTs on the A&P of the Anesthesia machine.

Depending on what state or hospital you work at Cer.A.T.&Cer.A.T.T. can and do perform these skills. I assure you they would be VERY PISSED OFF!(CRNAs) THEY WOULD BE THE FIRST ONE SCREAMING! Why? they feel I have a Master Degree with a Higher Education and special skills. See how the vast majority of CRNAs not all use dirty tactics and politics VERY VERY SAD.

This is how the CRNA would respond, If they want to make $100,000-$110,000 they need to go to CRNA school that's a CRNA salary. They are not a Anesthetist(CRNA)they are a Cer.AT or Cer.ATT with a Bachelor's degree they do not have the special education or skills needed.

In closing I feel If I'm performing these skills with a B.S. degree I feel I should be $payed(compensate)comfortable. I do feel I should not be making what a CRNA make or AA-C for that matter when both have a Master degree.

Same exact point when it comes to CRNA(solo)making the salary($250,000-$300,000) of a MDA with 12years of SACRIFICE "HARD" SCIENCE and CLINICAL EDUCATION SKILLS . A MDA education is a whole different entity period no matter what you say or how you try to compare your self to a Doctor(MD)of Anesthesiology you(CRNA) will never be equal to MDA whether It's a PhD or DNS in nursing behind your name you are not a Medical Doctor(MDA) that's the difference you are a NURSE know your role and job scope It's that simple. NEXT!

If you want all the autonomy you want with the $$$pay that MDAs highly deserves then you know what you need to do. GO BACK TO MEDICAL SCHOOL LIKE YOU ALWAYS TELL THE AA-Cs on here. As I stated before AA-Cs do go to a MDEICAL SCHOOL or SCHOOL OF MEDICINE WITH PRE-MED JUST LIKE THE MDAs.

Built on continuing Medical School into becoming a ANESTHESIOLOGIST(MDA)if they wish too that's the plus side of being an AA-C vs CRNA. FACT: 1/3 of CRNAs have not earn an Under Graduate Degree. I stand my ground and still say there should be a salary $cap for practicing CRNAs(solo)just because there in high demand in rural area doesn't mean they should be making the salary of a MDA I'm in tile to my opinon and I'm sticking to it.
