With that one point straightened out out above, let me address the other one Dave j. It is a fact that it is harder to get into an AA program that it is for a RN to get into crna school. The requirements for crna's is currently a BSN with .5-1 year critcal care experience...GPAs vary from anywhere from a 2.0 up. As for the GPA, it is also a fact that Most RN programs have specific science classes geared towards nursing majors that cut out aspects and are in fact easier than those that general science majors must go through. AA's must have GPA's averaging above a 3.3 with all premedical school requirements varied on an applicants experience. (those without healthcare experience typically need the high gpa's and/or high gre/mcats scores.)
However in respect to you, i am not attacking you for you seem to have an open mind of acceptance of AA's, i Will attack DD and other hardliners who try and spread lies about AA's out of their insecurities about job futures. SO with that, since i have not noticed you, i will apologize if you truely are someone who realizes AA's as competent providers.
