One again another CRNA with no actual knowledge besides what the AANA spews has spoken. AA's make the same pay that the crna's do where they work. AA's do the exact same cases and procedures that the crna's do. FACT: It is harder to get into AA schools then ANY crna school due to the fact that one must have premedical school requirements, ie, sciences that aren't geared for the nurse.(namely dummied down) Fact: CRNAs pay rates are fairly eqaul t/o the county rising in rural areas or where salaries require LONG hours and frequent call. Go ahead...look at gasworks, pay is the same roughly t/o every state. And where AA's are working, they make the exact same pay that the crnas do so spread your lies somewhere where they are not so easily proven wrong. As for the Rn's that work as AA's here in georgia, it's because they don't need to move over 2 hours away to go the the nearest CRNA school. As from the stats on admissions to those crna schools...you really shouldn't compare what AA's have to take to get into AA school versus an Rn to go to Crna school because that would really prove AA's better than your uneducated lies.
