Yes, CRNAs and AAs probably do make the same amount of money IF they both work under the same group of MDAs. You have to average incomes, and since CRNAs can work solo and get more pay doing so, their AVERAGE salaries are higher than AAs. If a CRNA can take call and do long hours and make more money IF THEY CHOOSE TO DO SO, I would not call that a disadvantage but an opportunity.
If my comment "more pay" confused you, I am sorry. I should have said "more pay on average."
However, this was not a general discussion, it was about one particular nurse. I speculated she does not have all the requirements to get into a CRNA program so is looking at an AA program as an alternative. If she does not have the requirements to get into a CRNA program, what you are saying is she probably does not have the requirements to get into an AA program either. I have no problem with that.
As far as you saying I lie, I think you have some issues. I have been one of the most moderate CRNA voices in this chat about the future of the AAs, and for you to attack me shows you only focus on what you want to hear. I suggest you read some of my other posts, take a chill pill, then apologize.
