Yet another loss to the model community. Very sad news John was always helpful to many collectors and builders. My condolences to his family.  Previous Message So sorry to read this news, we used to send occaisional emails to each other after meeting at Kassell years ago.. I picked up an awful lot from him regarding the approach to scratch building parts for models " You are not building a ship, you are building parts that will eventually make a ship" he used to say. Fair winds and following seas .. Previous Message John’s passing has really affected me today. He was a friend and a great model builder.
