My 1907 12 bore is SN 315816 Mr. Murphy. The gunsmith that replaced the firing pins recently measured the barrels for chamber and chokes- it has 2 and 7/8" chambers and is aprox. an Improved Modified in the right hand barrel, the front trigger barrel, and a Full Choke in the left hand barrel, the rearmost trigger barrel. It weighs aprox. 7 and 1/2 lbs. unloaded, perfect balance, shoots both barrels right to point of aim every time, has a half-rounded pistol grip with a black cap secured by a engraved center screw, and a black Bakelite style buttcap with two older style (not angled) wood screws that are counter pointed into the two holes- the center of the buttcap has horizontal grooves closely set. I like this gun very very much, as I am sure you do yours.
