As far as the banjo and a Brothers Four performance, the group makes a point of performing using two banjos-a plectrum four string-a few years ago I bought my "dream" banjo-a Vega Vox IV-and a 5 string banjo-it will either be a Deering GDL or Tenbrooks-and in the course of an evening we will demonstrate old time playing without picks-folk style with picks and without picks-as well as a medley of Bluegrass tunes-I have tried my whole career to master Bluegrass playing and never quite succeeded though the audiences appear to appreciate the effort.
It is a challenging and rewarding show that shares the story of Popular Folk Music.
Again, thank you, Bob, for all you added to make it what it is today.
