I oppose another period and would rather see a different PAS limitation for utility and back up type players that have something like a combined 700 total or less of avr; obpct and slg and grant them 300 pas. If they already have 300 pas then the normal limitations apply.

I'm just randomly suggesting the limitations and formula. There could be a better calculation but this suggestion would not diminish our waiver pool.

We should also consider an opportunity to claim waivers at the beginning of the season after we declare our 40 man rosters.
