Hi Simon Bloody frustrating isn't it when a customer "bottles it" before you get to find the answer. I often think it would be better if you had their car in a state that required some significant cost in order for them to drive it away. By that I mean, if you had already removed something substantial during your line of inquiries, that would impose some costs for it to run again, then it might encourage them to pursue the repair. Something along the lines of.... "Errrm Yes you could fetch your car sir, but the Cylinder head is on the bench!" Goodness me. What am I suggesting??
