Hi Simon, we have just completed one of these and yes we fitted a pressure sensor and the new one had a different pipe configuration with no instructions, we fitted and immediately got pressure & flow codes, swapped the pipes and everything in that area stayed fine. Do have a look at the posting lower down this forum as there was some very helpful advice and Simon Dean posted a list which must be adhered to so you get a result in turning off the FAP light.

Also do remember that the fuel cap can be a problem, and that no codes exist in the FAP system as well as the engine management before resetting any counters in the system. Hopefully your equipment will allow you to carry out a manual re-generation of the FAP filter and it is good to monitor the pressure in the filter before & after re-generation, I made a note of mine here. After all resets check the data of counters 1 & 2 are set to 0 Zero after resetting

Counter 1. Cleaning or replacement of Particulate emissions Filter &
Counter 2. Filling of Diesel Additives.

Then check Engine Data Page Pressure difference between inlet & outlet in particulate filter
Blocked Filter(FAP Light on) @ 3000 RPM = 258 Mb, Re-generated Filter @ 3000 RPM = 30-50 Millibar (above 100-120 Mb the FAP light will come on if the vehicle hasn’t carried out an auto regen)

I am waiting a couple more days ensuring my one is fixed before posting the fix. I don’t know what software you are using but you really do need to get into both engine management and the FAP system to adequately diagnose one of these and carry out the resets.

PS Sorry Simon just realised your surname you gave me the list DUH but I hope something here helps?
