Thanks for the replies fellas. It has got a real good Vacuum that is off the scale on my mitty (in excess of 30"). Good point Tony about it not releasing unless it opens to atmosphere. Obvious now you mention it Sean. I don’t have any actuation options available for this engine. Mind you I haven’t tried it as a Vectra/Zafira. Here is a capture I made today....... The blue trace is the turbo actuator control valve The red trace is the inlet manifold flap control valve The animation shows the engine at idle, then revved to full throttle & then returning to idle. Upon start up the turbo actuator arm is instantly pulled full travel & remains there. I would expect it to remain its relaxed state until the engine speed rises. I will have to do a similar capture on a Vauxhall for comparison. Any ideas until then? Cheers all Dave (Hill)
