So assume you are a re-mapper who last month re-wrote a map on a VAG motor, after bashing hell out of the DPF to make it a clear path for exhaust gas , and writing out EGR, you get a letter from VW saying that motor has been identified as a "cheat" car, it has to come in to be re-worked, whatever that means, they give your a DPF a tap with a metallic object and get a ringing tone back, that means your DPF has no monolith, all bets off ,VW refuse to touch your motor and also report you to DVSA for construction and use violations, where do you go from there ??
