I'm not really following what's happened or happening but if you've had your egr and dpf deleted I would think the last thing you'd do is take it back for a dealer recal to sort out an emission related fault.

To me it seems pointless considering you've completely done a way with what is meant to be controlling emission output in the 1st place.

So if you knowingly have done this and take it in for the recall software update and what else it requires your asking for troubleand I'm sure VAG woukd maybe have some sort of get out clause.

As for those who have bought cars genuinely not knowing what could of happened previously god only knows the outcome.
