When you changed the manifold did you change the flap motor? We were told by the dealer that this is set when installed and memorises the positions therefore new one needed when manifold changed.
We stumbled across this as we had one similar to yours but we didn't change the motor as it was the flaps that had fallen to bits, when we changed the motor all was well.
