Used another scanner. Egr stuck at 30% When this was removed, found to be stuck solid. DPF removed and also found to be chocked solid. The turbo too was found to be covered badly in hard carbon soot. How was this car running at all at the time it packed in. I do not have a lot of sympathy with the owner. Total lack of servicing and ignoring of the spanner light which I found out yesterday was on for over three months. A potential huge bill which she is unsure what the next step should be. Why was there not a code for egr and high pressure in DPF. As always with this type of job, I learned a lot. Do you think the high pressure in the DPF was causing the injectors to shut down?
