Vapour in leak back sounds more like combustion gasses coming back through faulty injectors ! cut open old fuel filter and check for the dredded metal filings too ,we all know the poss outcome if you decide to remove the inj for testing !!! they will be buggered as soon as you touch them as general rule of thumb on siemens systems !!
