"Paul asked for some simple advice" which if he supplied the turbo, he could easily ask the supplier what they would like to be renewed to validate their warranty.
Pete.
"I would fit a part supplied by the customer as long as they are aware that they take responsibility for it if it goes faulty."
Unlikely they would ever admit to any such conversation, do you get it in writeing (if so do you charge for the time taken.)
Tony.
"2 pay days in one!" to be honest, i did expect better from you.
Kevin, Pete and Tony
"Paul asked for helpful advice and as a long term contributor to UKAT, he deserves better than what he got."
I will only speak for myself, i still think my advice was/is valid.
The BIGGEST advice Paul will ever get to any extra parts/procededures will be from the turbo suppliers, which will always be easier if he is paying them for the new turbo (etc)
