of course I wanted to answer because you can't ask for ecu programing on the beggining of the diagnostics process. As Tony said it could be passive sensor and the problem is somewhere else. I really would like to help you but if I would say YES you can reprogram the ecu you would go for the second hand and then (would code it or not I don't know the abilities of the launch)would be still in the same position.
