Just wondered if anyone had come across the fault codes:
250C Accelerator position sensor/throttle valve
control motor voltage too low
2510 Ratio of acclerator pedal position to throttle valve position
Incorrect sensor voltage ratio
I have never come across fault codes related to an app sensor and throttle valve on a common rail engine before? I'm assuming it is meaning the position sensor monitoring the butterfly on the inlet manifold (which is vaccuum controlled) against the accelerator position sensor under the bulkhead (has a cable into engine bay from pedal)
When these fault codes strike the engine goes straight to limp home and not always resetting with cycling the ignition. Another garage has replaced the app sensor already and on scoping the sensors directly, the ecu in live data is relaying the same infomation my scope does.
Honda have also checked the vehicle and cant find a problem and have told the customer it is probably a broken wire and needs two days labour to locate.
Just doesnt quite add up to me.
Any advice will be hugely appreciated
Regards
Ben
