i charged £150 for my labour for initial quote of coil ecu. once ecu is fitted £395+vat i cant remove it but how do you justify the rest of the bill to the customer,i had way too much work on and ended up sending to 2 other garages for diagnosis and repair, charged her for canister and fuel tank labour but swallowed the other garages bills so it ended up costing me about £150 from my pocket. we live and learn didnt want to hit the customer with the extra when the ecu was my bad diagnosis. i agree with the canister filling up over time and then draining back to tank.
