The manifold flap is avaialable from GSF, genuine Pierburg unit, (same as VAG) approximately £100 less off memory, charge the VAG price for it - looks identical to the VAG unit.
I've had the fan packs fail as well, blowing the same fuse & have had a Golf & a Touran where the fuse had blown & had inop fans & a shorted manifold flap as well. Find the culprit for the blown fuse, disconnect it & run a actuator test on the other component on this fuse (F8)to make sure the diagnosis is complete.
