I did check with Camberley Auto Factors and they also sold the genuine Pierburg unit cheaper, the customer did opt for the dealer part
This was the first one of these I have done, but while I was doing the job a customer of mine came in with his 2008 Seat 2.0 TDi 125,000 miles and said this morning the MIL came on and the message came up on the dash to take to a garage, he said it was running on slightly when he turned the engine off. He then produced a crumpled bit of paper from his pocket with "Manifold Flap" on it, he had been on Google all morning. I told him I could not comment until I had done a scan and he needed to book it in, I think he was on a free brain picking mission.......he left non the wiser
So must be quite a common fault
