The plot from what I can tell is a twerpy, abusive male boss is in a plane crash with his female assistant (Rachel McAdams). Of course she saves him during the crash and after he initially takes control on the island and continues with his abuse she ultimately takes over as alpha male and dominates him and hunts and controls the island.

If you want an example of why women are miserable it is propaganda like this. An impossible fantasy that validates many women into thinking women are the same as men if only there weren’t social constructs.

I know there are many women who do not buy into this but there are a huge proportion of women who buy into this, and even worse there are women who don’t believe it but who will defend the movie and validate any women who do believe it.

I understand men have super hero movies. But those are not taken literally. And I have no issue with female superhero movies … except in formats like this where they aren’t presented as superheroes but rather women to be exemplified.

Perhaps this movie is more than meets the eye but I’m thrown for a loop that propaganda like this is being financed. I think women would rather see good stories than infantile feminist nonsense. But what do I know.

Here’s a video discussing Bear Gryllis’ men v women island experiment which if I remember right lasted a day before they had to merge the camps because the women were stupid and nuts and overran the sensible women who knew they were making a mistake.
