feelings of inferiority. When you secularize broad swaths of society and replace religion with the cult of leftism, this is the end result. It's not just a US problem, it's the same shit in Europe, Japan and Korea.
Simply put, the industrial-technological system is continually diminishing the value of labor but societies are demanding that women participate in the farce of a labor market to push wages down and shift the consumer base. Industrial societies tell women "you can have it all" and then their natural propensity for hypergamy manifests when they are unable to "marry up" because the system has placed about 2/3rds of young men under a boot.
Then, when women are unable to fulfill their evolutionary mandate and reproduce they completely lose their shit.
Simp "girl dads" are the first to blame, but the entirety of the educational system is the next layer of nonsense.

. . . batshit crazy. Emotionally stunted. No coping skills. No ability to reason. Reflexively scared and angry. Perpetually frustrated. Addicted to their victimization fetishes. Always blaming someone else for anything less than ideal in their lives. Desperate for constant affirmation.
I have no idea what has caused this widespread problem. But I heard a brief radio segment this morning that maybe explains things, at least to some degree. Handing out cell phones to young girls still in grade school and junior high significantly increases the incidence of all kinds of emotional and behavioral problems. Multiple studies out there for many years documenting this reality.
