I would not put a stone with my name on a future plot
Near my mother’s grave, a friend buried his parents. At the time, he bought a plot for him and his wife. He put up stones with their names and years of birth, waiting to be filled in. No way I would do that. Previous Message So that at least some of their children could be buried next to them, if they so chose. Two of their sons, one daughter-in-law and one grandson are now buried alongside them. I *think* there may be one plot still left. My parents purchased two mausoleum spots about 15 years ago. Nothing for me or my sister. "You ingrates are on your own!"
