Regarding memories and the OKC bombing
|
I mentioned this spring that our family was at the 30th anniversary of the bombing. My granddaughters' other grandfather was killed there. Everybody works to keep his memory alive, as do the fine people in OKC. The girls now know that a very bad man killed their grandfather and many other innocent people, including children. I wonder what they will think of the what happened as they get older and how much they will want to know. Whatever the result, if not them, their own children (I hope there will be some) will move along. I wonder how many descendants of Medal of Honor recipients know much about their stories 2-3 generations later.
