never mind that spending continues be the issue and nobody wants to touch
defense, medicare, or social security. in the absence of that, you mine as well pursue your priorities before the other side continues to come up with things that make people even more dependent on government.  Previous Message Disregard for the deficit is irresponsible, without even an attempt to make it better. Too much junk in there, such as overtime and tips.
