I watched yesterday’s game and would sum it up as OK first half terrible second. I saw nothing give reason for optimism despite some posters on here saying that we have nothing to fear in League 2. I saw no plan, no game tactics and no improvement when the substitutes were introduced. Forson ran round like a headless chicken, Drummond played with his head down completely ignoring colleagues around him, Kavanagh was totally ineffective, Pett was invisible, Morris had no impact, Fondop seems be be past his best. Thank goodness we have Hudson otherwise it could have been six. Weeks and weeks of pre-season training and yet Mellon has no plan. I don’t think he has any idea what his best team is. When the substitutes were introduced the situation just got more chaotic and at that point I realised we weren’t going to get anything from the game. Get real people, a 10th place finish as forecast by the bookies is on the cards.
