I note comments on here from posters saying that Mellon should be given until the end of the season and then let go. We gave lost the last three games badly, scoring two and conceding nine. How many more defeats are you prepared to tolerate? If Fleetwood (who disposed of Pete Wild and are above us) beat us on Saturday will you still be prepared to give Mellon until the end of the season? My patience is wearing thin and I’m regarded on here as an optimist. In my opinion we have a squad as good as any in this league but Mellon doesn’t seem to be able to get a tune out of them. If I was in DR’s shoes I would now be looking around for a replacement as quickly as possible.
