My uncle used to live just outside Leeds many years ago and I remember he ordered me to go and the “green un” from the newsagents so it must have been the same over there ..the Pink was produced by the Manchester Evening News ..it was a great achievement having it printed and out in the shops by 6.30 … it was a great read aswell …funny you’d be in the queue outside along with city / united fans some just back from the respective games ..I was the only Oldham fan ..never any trouble though
