I remember a match against United in the Lancashire Senior Cup or Manchester Senior Cup (some nothing game) and John (?) Fitzpatrick came out for the second half with a fag in his hand, took a long drag then stamped it out on the shale path - proper player. I used to have a drag at halftime when I played.
