Testing your memory now Mr Chairman..late 70’s I was stood in Rochdale Rd end ..Luton evening game in cup I think ..David Pleat manager ..Brian Stein I think takes free kick just outside our area and the great John Platt dives and ball “deflates” mid air and Platt misses it and ends up in the back of the net !! Can’t remember if the ref ordered it to be re-taken ?
