Forgot to mention. When I played in Oldham Am league we( Ravens) had a pre season friendly (about 69 or 70) against Royton lads club. The ref pulled out at the last minute and Les Chapman stood in as all his mates played for them. I think he had gone to Huddersfield then. He did a good job and wasn't to biased as we won 7-0.
