I call Norwoods goal at Wembley a legendary moment. It’s moment in a game that will last in your mind for as long as you live. Does this make Norwood an actual Legend I think not.
I define a legend as someone who has played for the club over a period of years and has shown exceptional skill , goal scoring prowess , exceptional defensive skill , or for a goalkeeper one who has got more clean sheets. Then there is the manager legend.
So my pick of legends in my lifetime as a supporter I would choose Bobby Johnstone, Jimmy Frizzell, Roger Palmer, Andy Richie, and Joe Royle.
Mr Norwood would have to have scored over 100 goals for the club before I would put him in a category of a legend.
