For me, heroes are different from club legends - my heroes (mostly players I wanted to be when playing at a young age!):

Maurice Whittle - loved his hammer of a shot and that he played with his socks round his ankles!
Vic Halom - knew where the net was!
Keith Hicks - tough as nails!
Carl Valentine - pace to burn
John Ryan - under-rated left back (world class moustache)
Simon Stainrod - played with arrogance and flair.
