I would hate Mellon to become obsessed with some of the players here last season either on loan or short term contracts. He needs to be at it -as other clubs are - with fees changing hands in division 2 and some good players available for free or nominal fees!
Nobody brought in so far we are not familiar with and this policy may be a big mistake if it continues.
