I would say Dollar is a 3T brand, even though
their 717i is a treat. Foe about $5 you get a CT plastic Piston filler. I was pleasantly surprised by the nib. Nice. Reminds me of the Cross Century nib. Sure, the clip looks plain, but given the conditions in Pakistan today, these pens are miracles. They also make an identical Italic nib 717q (Qalam) for the Arabic writers, which easily lends itself to many other languages as well. My 717i (international???) became instantly my daily writer. Third tier? Most likely, due to smaller output than the big guys. Nevertheless, an excellent product.
