    New Zealand have to beat Belgium for Scotland to have any hope of progressing!

    It was a bit odd that after beating Haiti after game 1 people were saying that they've all but booked their place in the knock out stages, when they still had Morocco and Brazil to come. Games they were likely to lose, and duly did.

    Very poor really but their predicament can be summed up in two transfers that have already occurred this summer. Despite Hearts coming within about 45 minutes of winning the league they have sold their main striker and manager Rangers - who weren't even runners up.

    Despite the most interesting Scottish season for decades, it's clearly a one off and Celtic Rangers borefest will revert to type next season. Real shame.
