I kind of remember the Euro's when it switched to this format - multiple 3rd place qualifiers.

Sure the group games started off well but became a borefest when sides like N.Ireland were trying to scrape nil nils further into the group stage.

Having said that though, Ive enjoyed some of the games far more than Prem games.
