Like what, to your final point?

The programmes sell well - they often sell out - and are a physical memento for many.

The club wouldn't continue producing them if they lost money on them, I imagine.

If you digitise everything, where is the ephemera which is so much a part of football's fabric and history: its lasting, multi-generational attraction?

I am broadly in agreement with more content on the website, fed in after the game.

But would personally see the disappearance of matchday programmes (I usually buy home, but never away ones) as yet another step away from what makes a matchday special, for those who attend.
