Eric, I have some serial numbers below and above yours that also have no makers name on the barrels. From your pictures, the breech balls are slanted and I have not seen this feature on the Syracuse guns. Also the for-end tip is wedge shaped instead of the vase shaped tip. It still has the large convex ribs on the bottom of the receiver, still has the rounded head side plate connecting screw and the squared corner barrel lug. The barrels do look like Stub Twist and again I have not see any Syracuse hammerless guns with these only hammer guns. It is a Quality 2 but does not have the engraving on the locks, the screws are engraved with the Quality 2 and 3 style. Is there any reason you want to shoot black powder? There are loads out there that can be used.
