Hi David, Thank you for writing. It is a 12 gauge. I checked the barrels and didn't find a makers name; just the number 22905 on the flat underside of the barrel where it connects to the stock. Thank you for the advice about measuring the bore. I will do that. I also looked at images of English Stub Twist barrels and I think that is what it is. Will you click on the small (green and grey landscape) picture icon under my name in the original post, and look at the pictures I uploaded to confirm my observation since you seem to be familiar with L.C.
