Dr. Drew: It is a more-readable format, thank you so much. You are a remarkable resource! After looking everything over, I'd now say I'm dealing with a four-iron Crolle, not three. Is there any correlation with the number of patterns(2,3, or 4)within a seam-width and the level of quality or strength of a particular process? In past discussions, Dr. Gaddy used prior-listed costs associated with a particular type of Damascus or Twist to impute a level of strength. Given what we now know, is that still a fair assumption? Also, many thanks for the Belgian and European barrel-makers info. I didn't find any matches, but perhaps the English "Rosetta Stone" will solve that for us someday. LM
