Dr. Drew: You had a discussion running on the doublegunshop forum a while back that discussed counting ribands in a Damascus tube to identify the 2 or 3-iron types and the processes used. Could I trouble you to identify the thread or perhaps send me that link? I simply can't seem to relocate that today for some reason. And also, while I have your invaluable attention, the tubes I'm looking at have the letters J-W stamped on them (English best gun, circa 1887, I believe it's 3-iron fine damascus). Any idea what the J-W signifies? LM
