I have decided to tackle this and see if I can't find the problem myself. I have a couple of questions about the disassembly.

I've read somewhere that when taking the gun apart there will be an awful sound at some point, am I going to hurt anything by trying this myself. Is there a preferred sequence for screw removal? Are there any photos of what the safety/gun should look like after the stock is off and it is reassembled? I would like to avoid drilling any holes in my stock or my receiver. Can I do this with a drift pin and a v-shaped screwdriver without any drilling?

Thanks for any help with this and if there are questions I should have asked but didn't, feel free to answer those as well. Rob.
