I guess this is as good a venue as any to report on my ongoing experience with this issue. As some of you may recall I sent a 16 gauge grade 2 1909 damascus to Teague for their re-lining process. After 7 months they reported they could not do it as the barrel diameter, wall thickness, amount to be reamed all made it a no-go for my gun HOWEVER, Jon Corner(seen in the article in Shooting Sportsman) thinks my Sweet Elsie will pass British Proof as is, so now she is traveling to Birmingham Proof House for the ??ultimate??"stress test"! The problem with the whole process was found to be gremlins in their e-mail system that was not routing messages to me. Jon figured that out and called, things now seem to be on schedule-I think. They are interested in expanding their US market so we are discussing me becoming their US agent. Their thought being I would serve as a "first stop/collecting point" and evaluate potential candidates here in the US so folks would not have to repeat my travails. Best, Dr. BILL
