I would like to post an apology to MarkQue on the subject of chokes in his Long Rangle Wild Fowl gun posted Dec. 10. He had stated that his chokes were xfull at .040. I had stated in Brophy's book Hunter Arms did not make any guns xfull choke. Led to a heated discussion as you are aware of. Well the other day a good friend gave me a 1930 Field Grade 30" barrels, mod/full. Well the full choke measured .687, that would be .042 choke. My question the whole time is, where is the break-away point for full choke compared to the other chokes range if L.C. Smith did not make xfull. Tom M, Tom A, John?
