Bob, for some reason when the L.C. Smith Gun Company started manufacturing they didn't stamp every gun on the top of the barrels. I have a Field Grade FW S1825, that doesn't have any top barrel markings, but like yours has everything on the bottom.

What the "P" and "E" mean I don't know. If it has ejectors I would think the serial number would be FWE S51955.

Made in 1949 to 1950, a total of 507 were made.
In Brophy's book, he states that the Premier Skeet, what you have, was made in 12 ga. only, but later into the subject he states that it was available in either 12 ga. or 20 guage., and included Automatic Ejectors, Selective Single Trigger, streamlined Beavertail forend, checkered butt, straight grip, ivory sights. Also on the tops of the barrels of the Premier Skeet was L.C. Smith-12 ga.-Premier Skeet-Fulton, N.Y. U.S.A.
Somebody more knowledgeable is going to have to take it from here as to why no markings on your barrels, and also to explain the different markings on your receiver.
