Take left lock plate off, look into hole where sear goes through with a flash light and see how far the sear is riding on the trigger plate. Gently squeeze right trigger and see what is happening. It is quite possible that the gun was taken apart and someone did not push the triggers forward and bent the trigger plate while tightening the side plate connecting screw. If that is the case, take a 1/4" drift punch and tap the the right side trigger plate to move it over slightly. Tap it near the top where the sear would ride.
