Is that something you really want to be responsible for?
We all have different standards of what constitutes excellence.
I have had both good and bad results from the same highly recommended gunsmiths.
When only the positive posts are allowed, that creates an unrealistic representation of the quality and costs of the work you should expect. The de facto result is claiming someone can do no wrong; in essence you are only allowing the five star ratings.
We are all human and have greater and lesser abilities to perform various tasks associated with gunsmithing. That is why they have gun guilds with different craftsmen performing their specialties.
My experiences have ranged from good to bad to having a gun not returned at all; all from people referred to me on this forum.
I mistakenly recommended someone highly praised here and later was appalled to hear the prices being charged for the services.
I have learned from these experiences.
Maybe this site should have a bulletin board allowing any and all of these various professionals an opportunity to advertise the services in which they specialize with the possibility of feedback from verified customers.
This might allow information to be shared without bias.
